Did you even read my post or did you just read the title and assume the rest of the thread was a bunch of republican crazies crying about how we are on the brink of the apocalypse?

I hope you put more thought, effort and research into who you voted into office.

    I never whined. I provided a solution.

And yes I read the thread. And yes I think there are a bunch of republican crazies here and yes I gave thought to who I voted.

    Anything else?

dont hate on obama just because you wanted mccain in. at least wait and see what shape the country is in a few years down the road.

the shape of the country is not obama's fault, nor is it the democrats fault, nor is it the republicans fault. it is the fault of the baby-boomers. gen-x is now left to try to clean up the huge mess of our parents.

    WRONGO -

Bin Laden - Clinton's fault and negligence
Housing and Credit Crisis - Democrat control and complete and utter mismanagement through the anti-Christ Pelosi, Barney Rubble Frank and Harry Reed.
Overall Economy - lazy people who voted for Obama who lay blame on the Republicans instead of helping themselves to a steaming bowl of opportunity and capitalism that we try to protect.

    You couldn't be more misinformed.

Clinton tried to kill him twice before 9/11, Bush did nothing until afterwards and hasn't caught him yet.

The 2004 repeal of CRA regulations by the Republican Congress and President precipitated the housing crisis.

Oh, you're a religious kook! I can safely just ignore you now.

bin laden is a fart and has nothing to do with the state of the US, except for providing the neo-cons with an excuse to borrow $ from china to pay KBR.

the housing and credit crisis is a blip.

the overall economy is ok as far as GDP goes. the problem is the balance sheet. and that is the problem of the US politicians and constituency since about Nixon. having 20% of the budget going to military is unforgivable in a time of peace (since WWII). 10% going to interest is unforgivable. 20% to social security is stupid. and 20% to healthcare is poor control of medical costs at best. all of this was under the watch of my parents generation. they are getting lumps of coal from me for xmas.:)

    8 years of Raegan
    4 years of Bush I
    8 years of Bush II

    8 years of Clinton

That's 20 years of rebuplican presidencies, and 8 years of Democrat presidencies since Carter.
NOBODY thought it was a good idea to fix it?
    And that's the Democrat's fault?

Sounds to me like everyone is to blame.

So it's been 20 years since we have had a president NOT named either Clinton or Bush...wow.

    Sorry, back on topic.

Agree 100%. I have always and will continue to respect the office of the President of the United States. A lot of Bush haters cannot truthfully say that.
