Obama is a fraud. He preached and positioned himself as one that would "reach across the aisle". .... ... .... ..... He's been proven to be the most liberal senator of the modern era. Now he is in freaking control, can stack the courts, restrict conservative and libertarian views on the airwaves, crumble our country in foreign policy and continue/increase the unneeded and unwanted deaths of innocent americans (abortion and euthanasia). I'm just terrified that more than half of this country has no Christian values. Its scary.

    I don't regret a damn thing I posted.

Obama is partisan... from the mouth of experts. :insane:

Keep following mindlessly behind the Republican party as if you don't have a choice. Republican zombie apocalypse. You should know, however, that brainlessly following the Republican party necessarily removes you from the ranks of true conservatives.

    Probably a good idea.

Hopefully he'll suck it up and be the man that Bush wasn't and that it seems you can't be. Keep spewing divisiveness and pointing the finger. You complain the US isn't more Christian - there isn't one Christian thing about this last post of yours.

Bush has more man and value in his pinky then Obama does in his entire body. I'm standing up for what is right, you should deal with it. Or are you looking for a free ride? Is you hand already out?

The fact that a democrat is now in the Black House does not mark the end of this country. The end of this country started a long time ago. I don't even really blame the democratic politicians as much as I blame the liberal, left-wing population. The level of immorality and irresponsibility shown all the way from the media on down to the families that are influenced by said media has been out of control since far before the campaigns for this election even began.

I can't even begin to tell you how annoying it is for me to listen to stories of people suing corporations because they spilled hot coffee on themselves or they were too stupid to put the burger down when they were full. Day in and day out I deal with people on the phone that don't know how to think for themselves because by and large, they are coming to expect the government to do even that for them. This country is full of robots that expect someone else to hold their hand through EVERYTHING because they are too freakin lazy to go and put forth the effort to better themselves.

Disrespectful children in the grocery store, general rudeness from pretty much every one and the complete lack of decency from my little brothers' generation caused me to lose hope in this country long ago and there is nothing GW, Obama or McCain can do about it. We have destroyed this country. Anyone who places the blame solely on one person is just as ignorant as Kanye West for thinking GW is a sorcerer that conjured hurricane Katrina because he is racist.

This is coming from a 25 year old guy that was raised with manners and general compassion for the human race. These aren't difficult traits to teach. Over the last few weeks, I have watched as the news channels place so much emphasis on what each candidate is and isn't going to do for this country. Take some responsibility and do something for the country that YOU live in and stop expecting someone else to hand you everything. Until some intelligence and independence returns this culture, this country will continue to go down the toilet and it deserves it in my opinion. Perhaps that is what it needs to wake people up.

my opinion probably is going to be ridiculed but i will give it anyway.

i believe our country is strong enough to withstand the far left and the far right.

so the person i wanted to run this country did not win. (even tho i wasnt happy with my choices, i did make my choice.) i remember my liberal friends feeling many of the same feelings, even if with different "scenerios", 8 years ago.

i believe in a lot of things. i believe in the checks and balances of the government. i believe in the moderates of both parties to swing away from the extremes in both parties and keep things in balance. i believe that the constitution is strong enough to turn back challenges from the far left and the far right. i believe that the pendulum swings and will swing back sooner or later. it has done so many times in our country's history, and we always survive.

i believe that bush did do some things to damage this country, and obama could do the same. however, i believe that no one person, or ideal, can do us in. i believe that because i believe that collectively, and through non-violent means, we can make democracy work.

i believe that our country has survived a lot in over 225 years, and that it will survive 4 more years.

and now a very unpopular opinion. our country has once again gone through the democratic process, a process many in other countries would love the opportunity to experience. because of this process, obama is my president. bush was my president. so was clinton, bush 1, reagan, carter, and every other president in my lifetime. i feel fortunate that i was born and live in this country. i will continue to participate in that democratic process to make things better. because that process, and the checks and balances, is how this country has survived, and been the envy of others, for so long.
