Based on what? Everywhere he has been has been a success. It’s Colorado. They were in the gutter and in 4 games they probably have more revenue than the past 3 years combined.
Covered this, he can't coach. He can recruit, he can talk but he can't coach. He may succeed at CU because the big 12 is soft. Some other school will get enamored with his crap and hire him. That is when it all comes crashing down.
Coaching is relative to the surrounding talent pool and capabilities. If you take a team in a league in the trash can to the top spot, it's worth mentioning.
at a place like Jackson St. landing 2 players (his QB son and Travis Hunter) are enough to make you the most talented team in your league. at a place like Colorado, just having those 2 is enough to get you beat by 5 TDs to a conference foe. and trust me that game wasn't nearly as close as that score would indicate. they needed multiple overtimes to beat a group of 5 team that they were favored to beat by 22.
Should I point out all the failures of “good” coaches? I mean shit. We got one here with plenty of examples. Also, isnt recruiting part of coaching? Seems odd to count that against him
