Ok, so Alabama losing today really putts ra ton of pressure on the committee next Sunday night. I personally love it if the Auburn game stays as it is. So the big question of the day is what is the pecking order of teams that would definitely be in over a 1 loss Alabama that didn't even win it's division? ACC Champ Clemson/Miami winner Big 12 Champ Oklahoma Big 10 Champ Wisconsin That leaves Alabama no more room for error, so to speak Does the winner of the SEC CG automatically end up higher than Alabama? You would definitely think so. So if Wisconsin loses to Ohio State, does Alabama sneak back in over a 2 loss Big 10 Champ Ohio State? I say yes. I don't see a 2 loss USC or a 2 loss TCU as conference champs getting in over Alabama.
Bama will get in as a #4. Winner of UGA and Auburn gets #3; Loser is out. If the SECCG is lopsided, the loser may miss the Orange, especially if the loser is Auburn; That would mean LSU would be in due to the head to head (if the committee sees it that way).
You're saying that either undefeated Wisconsin, the 1 loss ACC Champ or 1 loss Big 12 Champ Oklahoma would be screwed to let Alabama in?
I see Wisconsin losing to Ohio State. Clemson beating Miami, if Auburn hangs on here Auburn beating UGA again in a low scoring close game if Kerryon Johnson is out. Final 4 OU Clemson Auburn Alabama
So now we witnessed what we always thought. That this Hurts fella is simply not much of a throwing qb.
Let's say OU loses to TCU, then Ohio State beats Wisconsin, Auburn beats UGA, and USC wins the PAC. You would have the winner of Miami and Clemson would definitely be in and the top seed. Then you would have in no order. 2 loss Big 10 champ Ohio State 2 loss SEC champ Auburn 2 loss Big 12 champ TCU 2 loss PAC champ USC 1 loss Alabama 1 loss Wisconsin Undefeated UCF (if they win their conference) What do you do? If Notre Dame beats Stanford you would have a 2 loss Notre Dame team as well.
Bama and the Luckeyes get in just because they are Alabama and Ohio State. Then start flipping coins.
ACC Champ SEC Champ Alabama Ohio State You just gave us the easiest scenario of all, and the committee would thank you.
