You cover a TE that has about 15 catches all season coming into the game and Bama kicks that onsides down by 17. The Clemson D was dominating, the 208 yards on 5 catches was the only thing stopping it from being a blowout.
Hell they had him covered on that last big play late in the 4th the dude just didn't make a tackle. There were 2 where no one covered him, I hate to say this but give Lane Kiffin a lot of credit. He recognized that Howard would have some chances because he hasn't been used a lot. It's even more frustrating knowing we have a guy who is better than Howard, but we don't use him.
Perhaps Les will send CC over to Ft Worth for some lessons on how to run an offense??? Notice that BOTH Guys turned down Texas and A&M for well over 1 million a year and multiple year contracts. Send the strength and conditioning guy too.

They HAD to play 30 RS/true freshmen this year, they also did not play the 7th place team from the PAC 12 in a bowl. As for a NC, Miles HAS NEVER been even close to the same position in college football, do your homework, it's not even close to fair comparison........do you think Miles could have come back on ANYONE from 31 points down in 1 half????
