I don't vote for social liberals. I wouldn't consider Rudy.

Im voting for Rudy. He is known for producing results in whatever he does. With all of the crap going on in the world today, who gives a damn if he supports gay unions.

i still do not quite understand why gay marriage has anything to do with the govenment. the government doesnt manage communion, or baptism.

civil union, for tax purposes, for anyone who wants them. marriages, privately managed by churches or whoever, for anyone who cares. churches can give marriages their mystical validity or decree that they do not recognize the homo marriages. not a government issue. cmon conservatives, join me in this small government stance!

incidentally i am an official pastor of the universal life church, and i am qualified to perform marriage rites (seriously). so if you need to get married, i can handle that for you.

Yeah, the guy is credited for straightening up NYC in a major way. And that really says something. We could certainly use someone assertive, rather than just a semi-literate puppet.

the semi-literate puppet has a better education than almost all of us here i would bet. also the semi-literate puppet did better on the SAT than his most recent democratic presidential opponent.

MBA from harvard is what passes for "semi-literate" these days.

As long as Rudy isn't planning on marrying (and then divorcing) another head of state, I couldn't care less about his divorces.

I'm with martin on the divorce thing as well. The government's integral involvement with it is a bit silly. In the eyes of the law, it's a contract. Nothing more, nothing less.

So what? I'm betting that Noam Chomsky has a better education/SAT score than anyone that you mentioned. You gonna defend him? Didn't think so.

i certainly would defend him if you called him semi-literate. chomsky is a professor of linguistics at MIT. a pompous gasbag, but a literate one.

bush isnt stupid. he is smart. he isnt a great speaker. he mangles words. most everyone does. calling bush semi-literate is an unfair criticism. the sort of pointless partisan bickering i have heard you complaining about.
