You can’t see the evidence in front of your face Shane. Trump is toxic in any but the most red areas of the country. At best that covers 1/3 of the voters. That means to win republicans must attract voters to whom Trump is anathema. If you insist that everyone follow Trump to the Nth degree you condemn the party to minority status. Youngkin and others running Tuesday understand that. That’s why they were successful.
I routinely monitor election reporting for my TV station. Absentee voting is always the first thing reported by the state.
Then you missed on Tuesday when they repeatedly said "lots of mail in vote still to count" from the most populated and blue county in the state.
