Hoping Woodward does the right thing. I know he’s been working this for a while, it may be too late to turn this ship to Aranda.

Look, I'm not going to clown the guy with stupid names, he is obviously a pretty good coach or his name wouldn't be mentioned with so many jobs.

Dave to me is the lesser of the "provens" here but will also play the drama card and back and forth. If Billy is the guy then don't slow play it, go get him and lock him up otherwise he will end up somewhere else as will Aranda and who the hell knows what we end up with then.

I’m pulling for Aranda, but it might be Rhule.

Sounds about right. Afterall, we're the school that actually hired Les Miles' DL coach as a Head Coach, then made him the #2 top paid coach in America.

Why not pick the 5th or 6th option at this point? Just down the road too, in Laffy.

Maybe someday we'll get a top coach.

tirk bumped this thread not too long ago. Bizarre takes to be sure.

I'm sticking with my two impressions of Napier. 1. If he's the guy, we're "settling" after missing on several more prominent options. 2. I think he'll do a good job.

Fair enough. Don't know of any successful SEC coach that came from the SunBelt conference.

    Always first time? We'll see.

I got called out for posting "Cornbelt conference" rather than "Sunbelt conference". The Napie heads are circling the wagons of protection, exactly like they did with Ed O.

    Was just hoping for better.
