He’s 3x coach of the year. He’s 45-6 his last 4 seasons, 55-9 his last 5. 2 CFP appearances and a bcs national championship appearance. Currently has the #4 ranked recruiting class in 2022. Walker Howard is a lock now. He’s a disciplinarian (LSU really needs that) and the dude flat out wins games. Our offensive line recruiting should improve dramatically and LSU is never short of skill players. He also coaches with an emphasis on defense and ball control.
Should have gone youth. Should have gone Napier. I just don't see Louisiana kids excited to play for Brian Kelly. On the plus side, Kelly is a whole lot better than Jimbo Fisher.

I'm not real thrilled about the hire either but go and look at his record over the last 10-12 years and realize he's been at Notre Dame. Could definitely be worse...Stoops, BoB, Jimbo, etc
You’re actually turning me a bit. Still very worried about his ability to get his team to play up in big games against cutting edge schemes, but we do need discipline and OL improvement. I also wonder whether Brian Kelly will be appealing sitting in the living room of a poor kid from New Orleans.
