Except that if you look at the stats, LSU has only had 3 coaches in the past 21 years. The only teams that have had fewer head coaches in that time period are Iowa (1), Clemson (2), and Oklahoma (2). Oklahoma State gets honorable mention since they're tied with us at 3. We get rid of coaches when they start thinking with their little head instead of producing results on the field.
We know that, but don't you find it interesting that the "little head" thinking coincides with a decline in results? Equally interesting is how the firing is presented as a national story; the only thing that's talked about is what's happening on the field. So what are the potential hires hearing?
How long ago did we hire Les? 2003? They have had Gundy since then and Les for a number of years before that so they are only at 2. Les and Gundy I think
Well if you could hire a les miles and come close to winning1 and close to 3 ncs in about 10 yrs would you worry about it either. Probably not. Not o mention winning one with the worst statistical coach in sec history.
