if elite schools were race-blind, they would be hugely asian. like the elite public high schools in new york, or the california public unis. if the ivy league was 65% asians, is that a problem?
what about the fact that asians by nature are hard workers and very diligent but lack creativity. all these well educated people but very little creativity. shouldnt we get some blacks in there to teach them how to be smooth and come up with new ideas? asians dont innovate. is there no value in cultural diversity at all?
You should be admitted to school based on your academics. If you are getting a football scholarship, we dont complain when no Asians make the team do we? No. No one cares because we know they aren't good at football. The only value in cultural diversity is in food IMO. People dont look at illegal Mexican immigrants and say "man, they work hard for nothing. Maybe I should work hard too...." People talk about culture but I think its rare that they actually give a shit. If they did, they wouldn't try and destroy our American culture.

It's interesting you say this. In Grad School, I was had several Chinese in my lab, and they said the exact same thing. Their words, not mine ... they tend to be better at learning, but Americans tend to be better at coming up with innovative ways to use knowledge.
