What decade are you thinking of??? This isn't your Celtics of the '80's you know...

The Celtics currently have 4 white guys:
Dan Dickau, Raef LaFrentz, Brian Scalabrine and Wally Szczerbiak...and none of those 4 were drafted by Boston.

Yeah, I know everyone's visions of the Celtics are of Bird, McHale and Danny Ainge--all in the Boston starting lineup, but geez...that WAS almost 2 decades ago....

Chicago has 4 white guys on their roster just like the Celtics do....and I don't see anyone making a case for them to be "Token White Team City"...

These were the All-Americans that I could find from Louisiana colleges, I'm sure there were high-school kids who went out-of-state and made All-American but I'll leave that for someone else to look-up. For some reason my source didn't list race, apparently they don't want us to realize the true extent to which the sport is controlled by them darned dagos....

Kind of strange how Pete Maravich was the last Caucasian from La. to be named All American. Can we call that the curse of the Pistol? I guess we will never see another white guy become All American from La.

I bet you could search from 12th grade to middle school and you probably wont find a potential white kid w/the skill to become one of the top 5 best players in the nation. It just goes to show that white kids in La. are focused on things other then basketball and you know what Tigerforums, that’s not a bad thing.

Dale Brown was great at recruiting guys from around the globe to come play ball at LSU. He knew what was going on. I think John Brady has really taken LSU out of the international game. What is the deal w/this let it role on one great player from La, theory that he has? How about getting off your @$$ and go search the world for a friggen white boy or someone from another land that can help LSU gel from a decent team to a great team? It’s obvious that LSU can’t win a National Championship w/a team of talented players from La. or we would have a few trophies by now.
