The latest good brew I've had is Abita S.O.S. Quite tasty. In Scotland I had a few good beers. Tennent's was pretty good and it was served everywhere. On the other hand, Belhaven's Best was not very good at all. I'm generally an Abita drinker but will try just about anything once. Dogfish Head is another one of my favorite brewers; their 120 minute IPA and Midas Touch are especially tasty. St. Arnold in Houston has some good brews as well; I have 5 bottles of their Divine Reserve #9 aging in my pantry for close to a year now; will probably crack one and see how it tastes around the end of the year.

Picking up some supplies for the game and got a 6 pack of Heiner Brau Kölsch http://www.heinerbrau.com/ Brewed in Covington anyone ever had it? I'll let you know what I think. Cheers to all and go Tigers!!!!
The statement on its face did not make you priggish…however the fact that you dropped an acronym and expected us all to know it does. The SOS by Abita is pretty good. The cause is better than the beer in my opinion. Prolly won’t buy it again but I wouldn't turn it down if offered to me. Pretty cool bottle.
Hmm ... So what you are saying is, back in the 70's you were a "stick smoker" in Gay Bay, eh? Learn something new about people here everyday I suppose..
