They sell it here. A few 12 pks have actually passed through our beer fridge and you apparently didn't notice. Most of the liquor stores around the house carry it.

The fact that you are searching out beer during your lunch break on a Thursday, is proving that me objectifying you as the perfect woman is just.

My favorite beer is Dixie, and that is what usually ends up in the fridge at home.

In general I have really high end and really low end taste for beer. I consider myself a consignor of the cheap stuff. My favorites are Highlife, PBR, Mickey’s Fine Malt Liquor, Buckshot and Milwaukee’s Best. I really enjoy drinking tall boys of cheap beer while doing yard work. It is my guilty pleasure.

My favorite bar/restaurant beers are Turbo Dog, Mackson XXX, Smithwicks, a good tap of Guinness, Maximus, Heiner Brau Strawberry, Spaten Optimator, Smuttynose Big A, Reissdorf, Skullsplitter, Dieu Du Ciel Route Des Epices and Duck Rabbit.

the thought process is that beer can lose its flavor in the bottling/canning process more than it does in kegs due to filtering and pastuerization (sp? i'm way off, sue me).

Highlife is my everyday beer of choice. I get a six pack of tall boys at Mathere's Supermarket for just $3.39

Yeah, it's actually a policy of theirs not to ship to distributors outside of the state of Texas. Something to do with assuring that it's as fresh as possible.

I always pass through Texas around November, so I usually stop at a local liquor store and stock up with some to bring home with me. Good stuff.

I actually started with Shock Top and Blue Moon. Now I usually get Bud Light, but Sam Adams Summer Ale is my favorite. I've never had a Coor's Light. Oh, and I just tried Abita's Satsuma and really like it too.

I'm quite comfortable w/ my Coors Lite taste, Bud. Another thing that is interesting to me is conversations like this. Everyone always likes all these fringe or niche beers in conversation.

I have done many unofficial tests of my own when we have parties. I will buy numerous different kinds of beers. I always buy at least twice as much Coors Lite as any of the others. The Coors Lite always runs out first. Always.

For example, last crawfish boil, I bought 3 cases of CL, 1 case of Bud Lite, 1 case of Miller Lite, 1 case of Bud, 1 case of Mikes Hard Lemonade, 1 case of Corona, and finally a case of assorted summer beers from Sams Club (yes, it was a big crawfish boil). The one beer that was gone was Coors Lite. Every party I have ever had, it runs out first. Some say it doesn't have taste, I say it is very smooth and doesn't have that bitter taste of so many of the beers mentioned in this thread.

So, all of you are welcome at my crawfish boils, but it sounds like a lot of ya'll will have to bring your own beer!

KyleK, I meant no disrespect brother. People who aren't big beer drinkers love Coors light. I work at a bar part time and it is the second most ordered beer (bud light is number 1) I just find that peeps that drink coors light like it because it has a very mellow flavor. I on the other hand love a rich, flavorful beer and believe there is a beer for every occasion (red stripe is my crawfish boil beer BTW) and I try to pair my beer with my food.
