When I'm here around home, I like most of the Abita stuff. Favorites are: Andygator Turbodog Abbey Ale Jockamo There is small brewery in Texas I'm partial to when I'm around there: St. Arnolds Amber St. Arnolds Christmas Ale St. Arnolds Elissa St. Arnolds Summer Pills St. Arnolds Devine Reserve (limited availability - seaosnal) As far as "regular" beer, Heineken Corona Coors Lite yadda yadda..
Couldn't get his pic to upload...might try it again later. Figured the Blue Footed Boobie was a good sub.
Abita Light is good in the bottle but for some reason it does not taste as good in keg form. At least not at Happy's Downtown...that could be their lines though. I've never heard of St. Arnolds...New?
oh man i love me some st arnolds that's my fave texas one along with real ale which you can usually find here. st arnold's you can't. in fact, it's possible we'll have a keg of fireman's #4 for the miss st game. yeah, that was it. tasty.
could be a number of things, could also be an old keg if it's not ordered much. go try it at the bulldog, if it sucks there, it probably sucks in keg form.
This is actually a good beer. I drink double duece plus two of Banquet beer on my way to tiger stadium every Saturday.
I drink Shocktop when I go to the Bulldog. I call myself a pu**y every time. When it is early November, I love drinking a good old Dixie while frying up some catfish out side with the LSU game coming through my radio speakers. Always found this to be overrated. Give me a turbo dog.
i actually like that beer too. if we're ever there together lemme know if you need help calling you a pu**y. :hihi: i don't really do belgian whites so no shock top for me, switch to hoegarden or blue moon and you'll probably not have to resort to name calling. michelob actually for being who they are make some decent beers. their amber bock is respectable. not a fan really of anything bud puts out (but yet i still drink it) especially their specialty beers but michelob has some good ones which is weird since they're both AB.
