The Beer Thread

well, then i can tell you what that smell is.

 

For those of you who live in the BR area and may be interested, the Zapp's International Beerfest is Saturday, March 26th at the LSU Rural Life Museum off Essen.

I've been the last couple of years and always managed to have a good time. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this year.

 

hmm...seems that something else is going on that day??? A 5k maybe?

ETA: wait, the happy's 5k is that day...yeah...I'll be downtown that day

 

I went last year, and kind of thought it was a rip off.

Which is why I can't go because I'll be downtown as well!

I guess if you leave early, Beerfest can be considered a ripoff, but after a certain time, it just becomes a free for all.

The homebrew people do tend to run out of their beer very quickly, though.

 

But will you be participating or serving car bombs in a beer wench outfit?

 

Guess you'll just have to wait and see!

Double IPA Fest in Hayward yesterday, 60 IIPA on tap, 65 outside, great fest.

Today, Sour Fest in Berkeley, simply outstanding.
