It's funny, I'm definitely a beer girl, but if I'm forced to drink wine I want something sweet and girly like a Reisling. I do not touch frozen drinks unless I am at Superior or on Bourbon Street and it is a Hand Grenade.
We've added Stone Arrogant Bastard, Heinerbrau (don't know which one yet), Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan, a Freetail beer (don't know which one yet) and a St. Arnold's Oktoberfest to our lineup.
sweet st arnold's oktoberfest could by my fave st arnold. i'm bringing the abita fall fest. i brought three different 12 packs last yr but i am broke until i get paid again so i'm gonna hang low with my local stuff.
I know at least 4 more people who are trying to decide what to bring and Toby hasn't picked up beer for the Barbres yet, so...we could be looking at the biggest beer tasting ever this year. Oh, and the Badeauxs are bringing a Zea microbrew which I'm excited about 'cause I haven't tried any of their stuff.
Something that: 1) Goes well with BBQ 2) is early morning drinkable (not that there are many that isn't) 3) nothing to heavy
