Thats the collective "you", which is why I said "you guys" the first time I referred to the AU nation. I dont care enough to go look for specific posts you may or may not have made, but Im rather sure that at some point, every Auburn fan that reads these message boards has seen information posted by an LSU fan that they didnt believe, whether it was about fan behavior or otherwise.

"Chuck, as I frequent poster to this page, and from what I've seen a pretty objective quy, I would like your honest evaluation about our upcoming game. My feeling is that your running game gives you the advantage, unless we can get Carey healthy in a hurry. Did you notice how much press Jacobs is getting? He's mentioned in two different blurbs in the past Sporting News. What gives? Have people forgotten that Cadillac is the best running back in the SEC? My other question is about Lavalais. Who will be matched against him on your OLine? Do you think Tubb will do the necessary thing and double team him all day?"

    JTV -

I'm still not sure what's going to happen in the Auburn vs. LSU game. I think the last 4 Auburn games let's you know how we will play it. We are going to run the ball 70% of the time with some well timed passing plays - mostly under 20 yards. Campbell will not throw many INT's (even the one vs. Ark he was trying to throw Out of bounds and the Arky guy hit him at the last second and it shifted his throw). Playing like we are, I dont' think a team can completely shut down our running attack, but how much you can slow it, and the rush you can get on JC will have a lot to do with it.

LSU is another story - pre-Florida, my big concern is that our biggest team strength (rushing D) doesn't match up to your offensive strength (passing O). So while I don't think you could run the ball, you may not need to. However, watching the UF game, Mauck showed that he does struggle under pressue and maybe the passing attack isn't as effective as I thought. I'll know a LOT more after watching the USC game on Saturday. I know one thing, Saban will have a good game plan.

Not sure about Lavalais - is he Tackle or End. I think our best side of the line includes Marcus McNeal (Freshman All-American) and Monreko Crittendon - both are huge quick guys who play their positions very well. This exact OL matched up with 3 of the top DL's in teh country last year (LSU, bama, and PSU) . so, now that htey are executing - I have a TON of faith in them.

Jacobs is news . .he's big and fast - but I agree with you. Carnell is a fantastic athlete. I'm looking forward to watching him play LSU for the first time.

I agree that he has trouble under pressure, but it is not the same kind of pressure that you are thinking about. Mauck cracks when everyone is covered and he feel the eyes of 92K fans bearing down on him. Not when there is a strong pass rush. He had an eternity to throw the ball against FL. I actually think that he would probably do better with a little more DL pressure. :) MAKE A DECISION! Don't just stand back there until you are eventually sacked.

I think that every LSU fan is in complete agreement with that statement. It will be interesting to see how we play against a strong running team.
