The annual mass exodus begins

It's that time of the year, when several LSU players leave early. Jerald Hawkins is the first to announce his early departure.

Yep, 1 down, this one really isn't a big loss though, we are so deep at offensive line we can stand to lose him and it may swing a recruit this way too.

 

The Buckeyes have already lost 5. I think ucla is at 4 along with Mississippi. These players need to do their homework. Last year, 98 declared and 36 went unsigned. Failure rate of almost 40%. There are some players who are ready and everyone knows it but there are a lot who really need another year.

 

Now it's really important to keep Pocic to play left tackle next season. Hope somebody can play center and keep Clapp at guard.

 

Hawkins won't go first round but will go high enough toake his signing bonus over a mil.

 

I would think Hawkins will be lucky to go before round 5. Just not something you leave for.

 

Mike Detillier is projecting Hawk with a third round grade.

 

Pocic and Beckwith are the two we need to come back. White also to a lesser extent. Neal needs to come back for his sake.

 

Agreed, White would be nice but this is another position LSU is loaded at. Really liked how Donte Jackson played at the end of the year, in my opinion he played better than Tolliver.

 

I was talking to tirk yesterday and told him OU is losing 5 LB's. I don't think we have 5 LB's. Unreal.
