Main thing that sticks out to me about this is the potential bullets we dodged. Luther Davis had his scholarship pulled after lying to the staff about going to a funeral in Alabama and took visit to Bama. He came to LSU on multiple occasions 2 months prior to NSD and tried to get that offer back and the staff did not budge. Didn't do really anything on the field in college so dodged more than one bullet. Most of us remember all the fishy Fluker stuff with the move from LA to Foley HS in Alabama before college. Mom nursing job, etc... that nothing concrete to prove any benefits. We recruited Bumphis but did not offer after he came to camp and a few visits. We recruited Flectcher Cox pretty hard and ended up in his top 3. Don't believe we had much of an edge with the Tennessee players. We recruited Bray but never in it.
Also, dodged the Dexter Pratt bullet, and now he gets time in the OSU article as one of the "informants" to wrong doing. He showed up here on day 1, I believe, and left before checking into his dorm or something like that? Weed enthusiast, if I remember right. A bit ironic, the connection of CLM to OSU and DPratt.
