Oh I agree, but I also know very well how hard it is to get up for playing the same team again, especially in football. One of the hardest things when I played highschool basketball was playing the same team again. One year we met a team not only twice in the regular season, but in district and then regionals again. Even though we were the superior team, games 3 and 4 were hard as fuck.
confirmed: Alabama's 2011 National Championship is not in jeopardy at this point. they had the one of the two Yahoo! Sports guys that wrote the article on the radio, and he said all the evidence they had on the 5 SEC players receiving impermissible benefits was just for the 2012 season. so based on that, Fluker didn't become ineligible until during the 2012 season, and therefore the only Bama National Championship in jeopardy is 2012 (last year). However, being that Alabama didn't win the SEC Championship in 2011, and the 2012 one will be vacated, that means it looks like Saban will now only have the 2009 SEC Championship during his time at Bama thus far (he's currently in his 7th season at Bama) for example, the NCAA only found that Reggie Bush had received lavish gifts from sports agent Lloyd Lake and his partner, Michael Michaels, from at least December 2004 onward, which is why the USC football team was only forced to vacate the final two wins of its 2004 (Dec 4 and Jan 4), as well as all of its wins in 2005. Reggie Bush at USC 2005 -- appeared in all 13 games, had 2,890 all-purpose yards -- USC went 12-1...all twelve wins were vacated 2004 -- appeared in all 13 games, had 2,330 all-purpose yards -- USC went 13-0...only the last two wins were vacated 2003 -- appeared in all 13 games, had 1,331 all-purpose yards -- USC went 12-1...none of the wins were vacated USC wins with Reggie Bush 2005 -- W W W W W W W W W W W W L 2004 -- W W W W W W W W W W W W W 2003 -- W W W L W W W W W W W W W ALABAMA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS SINCE SABAN TOOK OVER: 2009, 2011, 2012 ALABAMA SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS SINCE SABAN TOOK OVER: 2009, 2012
Kevin Scarbinsky, AL.com Fluker could be to Alabama what Bush was to USC. A player who helped win a national title and then helped lose it because he couldn’t wait until he left school to get paid. Alabama's last NCAA probation ended in June of 2012, but Alabama is still in the five-year repeat violator window. Luther Davis, the middleman, is a former Alabama player and sports agent John Phillips is an Alabama grad. Phillips was providing money to Davis during a time period in which Davis was providing benefits to Fluker.
Oh if they got hit as a repeat offender, the melt down in Tuscaloosa would provide so many tasty tears. Saban jumping ship to another school during that time would cause an even bigger meltdown and there would be mass suicides in that hell hole. NCAA, only you can prevent redneck Bama fuckers from procreating, do what's right!
So um .... 2011 they got to back their way into a title game and beat us and beyond that they haven't really accomplished shit themselves?
