Merck's CEO, an African American, resigned yesterday from Trump's council on manufacturing, objecting to Trump's "on all sides" equivocation.

A decent leader who is not a racist would have responded with something like "Mr. Frazier, I'm sorry I wasn't as clear as I might have been in condemning white supremacists. You are an important part of our council and I hope you reconsider."

Instead, Trump attacked Mr. Frazier.

To even ask me that question is insulting. To even get into that with you would assume I have some connection or guilt. I told you last week about who I am, did you forget or just ignore my life history? I also remembering asking you based on who I married in life (a hispanic and a Jew) and who was my girlfriend was in college (a sweet black girl from St Martinville, LA) what your history was with so called minorities and dont remember getting an answer. Bringing up what Antifa is and there involvement in this weekends event is no reflection on my disdain for any white, black, hispanic or asian supremacy groups. If Trump had flown to Charlottesville and personally shot that guy who ran down a protester he would have been criticized for not doing it sooner. As disgusting as this whole ugly event was what is just as disgusting is before the dead body got cold the disgusting left started using it to score political points.
