So you "could" actually care less? Sorry man I just had to. I'm against it, it is just bad all around and nothing good could ever come of this.
oh there is no question islam is a terrible scourge, there is no doubt about that. but this mosque, i just dont see the problem. new york is a huge city and there are mosques everywhere. like i said before, there is an everything, everywhere. think of any random business, like a pizza place or mcdonalds, there are many of them right in that area. its really dense down there. if you visit the site, you will not notice the mosque. it is around the corner on a the next treet. you will pass a thousand other places of business before you get to it.
yunno a bengal tiger is from bengal, where the bengal people live, which is mostly modern bangladesh. so the bengal or bengali people are almost all muslim. if you call yourself bayou bengal, you might as well call yourself bayou osama
Not only do I not agree with the building of the 9/11 Mega Mosque apparently to memorialize the 9/11 terrorist attacks in infamy, but I also don’t believe that Islam should be accorded protection under the first amendment. I mean Islam in stark contrast to faith-based religions is a religion of submission, where the freedom of conscience, one of the hallmarks of being an American, is forbidden. In fact, the word Islam in Arabic means: to submit, and the word Muslim in Arabic means: one who submits. Moreover, because Islam is a religion of submission as opposed to faith-based religions, a Muslim, unlike adherents of faith-based religions, can’t pick and choose what it is he or she will adhere to and what it is he or she will reject, as in Islam that is called shirk, and shirk in Islam is punished under the pain of death. Likewise, once a Muslim always a Muslim, as again unlike with faith-based religions, a Muslim can’t decide to leave Islam, because that is also punished by death. Indeed, people who assume that Islam is like other religious faiths and that Muslims are like other faith-based adherents are making a very naïve mistake. Therefore, because Islam is a religion of submission that forbids the freedom of conscience as opposed to faith-based religions, I don’t believe it should be accorded the same protections as faith-based religions under the first amendment of the constitution. Not only that but I’m damn sure it wasn’t the intention of the founders to protect a religion of submission that forbids the freedom of conscience. Furthermore, on top of being a religion of submission in stark contrast to faith-based religions, Islam is also a very radical form of totalitarianism that seeks world domination. Hence, where in the first amendment is protection accorded to a radical form of totalitarianism? Nowhere! Thus, Islam is not protected under the first amendment of the constitution because it is a religion of submission that forbids the freedom of conscience and also because it is a very radical form of totalitarianism that seeks world domination, and therefore it should be outlawed because the constitution isn’t a suicide pact.
also i should note that you imbeciles that care so much aboiut what the american flag represents should be storming this thread with the opinion that america stands for the freedom for religions to do things like build and worship wherever they want, and that is one of the most important things about america, if not the most important. mods, if you are going to edit my posts, dont leave them full of sentences that dont make sense, or at least leave a note that says you edited the post.
