You know what? Fk the GD ragheads. Seriously, I find it somewhat ironic that the libs are all over this in the name of religious freedom but they go to court over a Nativity Scene in a public park.
That smile seems to indicate you would be happy to see the mosque brought down. So do you like freedom or not? For everyone or for everyone but Muslims? Are there good terrorists? Do you like terrorists who blow up mosques? Do you like terrorists who blow up christian churches? I just can't tell where you are coming from.
But its tow different scenarios. A mosque being built with private funds vs. a nativity scene being raised with public funds. I don't have a problem with either, but there is a marked distinction.
One of the problems is that we don't knoiw who is funding the mosque. This is not a freedom or religion issue. It is simply a matter of respecting the feelings of 9/11 survivors. If this "moderate" imam wants to exercise his right to plunk a mosque in the shadow of ground zero, he can. I don't have to like it and it will do nothing to encourage tolerance toward the ragheads.
What a bunch of nonsense. Of course this a religious freedom issue. Either we respect freedoms or we don't. It is as basic as that. The political stance of the imam doesn't matter. He can call for sharia law and lambast the excesses of western life all he wants. As long as he does not try to incite revolution he is within his rights, and you do most certainly have to tolerate it. It is a right backed by the greatest collection of words ever put to paper. You don't have to like it, but if you love America you are obligated to tolerate it.
I have not seen or heard of anyone opposed to the mosque making it an issue of legality. Only the libs are doing that.
I wondered how long it was going to take for someone to point that out. Nobody wants to make it illegal. They'd just rather not see it where they want to put it.
I thought the main objection was that it is completely oafish of muslims to put it there, and totally defeats their stated purpose of bridging islam and christianity. The fact that muslims deny this obvious inevitability is mind-boggling. But they feel it is insensitive and not constructive for someone to exercise their rights by putting a gay bar next to them. Muslims have a right to put it there, but its stupid. And it's likely to do just the opposite of their stated purpose. Which is probably their actual purpose anyway. I don't see a great deal of tolerance in muslim countries. Isn't it cute how they cry for it here?
Nancy Pelosi's recent remark that anyone opposing the mosque should be investigated is proof positive that too many face lifts cause brain damage.
