I see Obama let his Muslimism slip out. Now he's trying to crawfish. Too bad Barack. We know you couldn't help yourself while you were celebrating the bginning of Ramadan with your brothers.

WRNO was taking suggestions for the gay bar name the other night. My favorite: "Sodomy Hussein's"

I don't think that many people "support" the building of a mosque in this location. But that doesn't mean it can't happen.

Whether you like Muslims or not is irrelevant. The constitution tells us exactly what to do and I would hate to see it go aside yet again because some people are fearful of a Muslim.

in all seriousness of the video shane posted. once you stop laughing, pay close attention to the last part. (sorry, i didnt catch the mark, i think around 2:30.) the cordova house, or whatever group they call themselves wanting to build this, tweeted this guy back about the idea. something about "if you arent going to consider the sensibilities of muslims, you are not going to build dialogue".

helloooooo..... pot meet kettle. this exactly what a lot of people who are against this mosque are saying. constitutionally/legally, this should not be prohibited. but the sensitivities of the families/victims of 9/11 are not being considered. i guess they think it is ok for them to be arrogant and insensitive, but god - excuse me, allah - forbid, someone be insensitive towards their feelings/beliefs. talk about hypocritical.

for that reason alone, i'll chip in. f' em!

It has nothing to do with the Constitution. No one is saying they don't have the right to buy the land and put a mosque on it. The issue is that with rights come responsibilities.

It's not even an issue of freedom of religion...nothing is outlawing the practice of Islam in America.

    This is a zoning issue.

Not sure why Obama didn't stay out of it. For a smart guy, he sure steps in it quite a bit. Getting hammered for it now.
