Peterson sucks. That's why he isn't starting. Russ has more upside. At least at one time. The unknown is more desirable than the known. Say no to Peterson. Reynolds may at least cuss out osullivan like he did Matt riser.
I'm pleased with the job Maineiri has done to this point. I still think I'd go Poché (W-M 5 days), Lange (F-TU 4 days), Gilbert (SA-W 4 days), but if we can grit out a win M, we'd have a good shot moving forward.
Yep I would go with my shittiest pitcher possible just because he's a senior. It's a tried and true method. Maybe we get lucky and he pitches 3 innings and gives up only 2 runs. I'd take that.
Of course you would. He's had 4 days rest. The only question would be if you lose how many innings would Lange throw game 2. Conceding game 1 of a championship can't say I've ever seen. You don't count t the day they pitch as a day of rest. Subtract 1 from your totals.
