It would be great if Poche could pitch a no-hitter like he did at the beginning of the season. I really want them to meet up with OSU again for some redemption
We just lost our 3rd pitcher. We're officially on fumes where as everyone else has a loaded pen. We simply cannot dismiss who we are now. We might get one tonight, we might even get one Friday, but we start sputtering from there. Given that, an awesome run with the probabilities grossly running low. Remember in 2014 leading up through the regional where near every player on the team was sporting the dirt bag look? They got off the plane in Eauxmaha with fresh new haircuts and a shave. This is worse IMO. But if one feels they need to shed their skin, have at it, but all I see is an identity crisis. Not the response I was looking for. Kids gotta be kids I guess
Given the turn of events, getting past OSU twice seems a tough expectation (though possible, we aren't as bad as we looked the other day). Getting a couple more wins in Omaha would be a pretty good outcome. I'll be disappointed with anything less, especially if it plays out like our loss Monday. Still, before Walker crapped out, I viewed anything less than a strong deep run in NE as a disappointment.
I remember doing this in the state playoffs one year. I hope the blonde helps Kramer's bat and glove.
