The 2017 LSU Baseball Season

The guy who got our last win. Has the most wins in school history. Was here four years.

 

Hess could go 5 or 6 but he will be used probably the next 2 games. Will be bullpen by committee if we have to play Osu a 3rd time.

 

Walker may be healthy for a lil redemption. Gotta get there first...

 

Doubt they risk it.

 

If it is BP by committee, start him and run him till it hurts. No different than yesterday I suppose. At least he was honest enough with himself to call for the hook. Hell, he was up in the count with only a strike left and called it. How many pitchers would have pressed on in that situation?

 

Actually, I'll take that back somewhat. He felt pain after the 3rd warm up throw and tried to play through. But still knew he was stuck with what he had and pulled himself. I felt horrible for him.

 

He is our Friday or Saturday starter next year. If there is any chance at all of him sustaining a more serious injury he shouldn't pitch at all. When you're in pain and try to pitch through it you tend to overcompensate on your delivery and risk aggravating it. CPM pronounced Walker 100% but what were the reasons he thought so? Surely he was examined by a doctor but did they do a cat scan or MRI? Could be as innocuous as a pulled muscle in his forearm or something more serious like a hairline fracture.

 

Kramer Robertson better get his head out of his ass in the field too. Can't have errors from veterans.

 

. We were fucked on the first pitch bunt. Then it just got worse. We knew we had no room for error. CPMs teams always play tight in Omaha it seems. Opposite of skips teams.

Krobs error blew the game open. Sparky ha to hit the cutoff. That was 3 errors but just one on the books. We really had about 7 or 8.
