How the fuck do you cheer a pedophile? I don't care how good he pitches or if he plays for your team. That's a fucking disgrace.

I guess, for many, it's easier since he was a teenager. Kids experiment but his age and the age difference make it hard (no pun), in my eyes.

Huh? I get it, they need pitching, specifically closers, all kinds. That dink they have been running out there is terrible.

loudly cheered, fuck no, who'd do that?

There are two camps,.. one thinks he was a 15 yr old when he did it, he went through counseling, blah blah blah, and he shouldn't have that ruin him for life.

The other camp says he stuck his hands down the pants of a six yr old girl, he's scum, and that fact should follow him wherever he goes to protect other children.

I feel sorry for him, but he can't be trusted,.. I feel one reaps what one sows.

    He's from Seattle, I'm glad he's a Beaver and not a Duck

Yeah, recidivism would definitely be a concern for that crime. But our society is so caught up with bringing home hardware that they'll give him a pass for now.

This was only an excerpt I read from the AP, and maybe it was inaccurate or I am wrong but says he was cheered by the crowd.

"Heimlich was cheered by the crowd at Goss Stadium when his name was announced with the rest of the Beavers in pregame introductions. He was in uniform."
