You got it with that last sentance... why is that one big difference is that you can work on what you need to in the minors, college ball has a bigger emphasis on winning right now. I bet somewhere in AA or AAA Lange figures out another pitch, change up or a cutter/sinker. Since not everyone can make it to the show, many contracts have a clause to pay for college later.
