The 2017 LSU Baseball Season

Puts us right in the thick of it. I guess the silver lining this year is that there is no standout SEC team. The top 6 or so are all really good and really close. I doubt the SEC has more than 1 host a top 8. If event hat. I also doubt the SEC winner has more than 18 wins at this point.

 

We still have to find a way to hit SEC teams Friday Ace. Its unnerving our lack of bats on Friday nights.

 

Micah Gibbs was a good player but is it possible he sucks as a hitting coach

 

As my memory serves he wasn't that great with a bat.

 

Good catchers don't have to be. Very few catchers ever hit like Johnny Bench.

 

Hit a team high of .388 as a junior. He was more known for his play behind the plate. Dude was a phenomenal catcher.

 

Good hitter just no experience coaching. He's a good escape goat but there's no way to really tell unless you hear from the players. Lange needs a fucking psychologist and that crazy routine of his where he gets lathered up like secretariat on the home stretch before each game is a bit much imo.

 

3 straight hits for lsu must be a record this year. Coomes knocks in the first run vs usl. Runners 1/2 no outs bottom 4. 1-0 lsu.

 

Krob with the 2 out hit drives in 2. 3-0 lsu as Cole drank grounds out.
