Our next opponent…da hogs. Who are they? They are R-Kansas by gawd and they sport the scarlet letter. Bobbay, dey r du devil. But they ball and this year, one of the best teams in the conference. They are 22-8, 16-1 at Home and well, they are at home. As a team, they are batting .288 while allowing opponents only .226. Sound familiar? Their pitching is stout throwing a team 3.45 and that is with their own Hunter Kiel contributing a 40.50 era. Opponents are pitching to them a mighty 6.29 era, so they get the bat on the ball. In the SEC, they are hitting a team .297 while the opposing teams are hitting them .231. They are pitching a team 3.87 while their opponents are a respectful 4.85 –vs- the balance of their non-conference schedule. They are fielding .984 while tossing 4 DP’s…in the SEC… But they are 16-1 at home. There is a distinct advantage there alone but the fact remains, they are playing at so much of a higher level than we are at the moment. Our pitching has been what we need it to be and if you listen to CPM, we are 1 pitch and a run away from remaining in the top 5. Thanks for turning shit to sugar, coach. But we need hits. Just little ones really because we lead the planet in stranding runners in scoring position. This weekend, we gotta wake up otherwise, another series loss could be the beginning of a miserable post season.
Mid season regional projections have LSU going to Ft. Worth as a 2 seed. Anybody hear about how Florida, after losing 10-1 to Stetson in the 5th canceling the game after mildly adverse weather and refusing to reschedule the game? Deuchbaggery seems to always prevail in gainsville. The hate meter just got that much stronger.

We really need to start helping Lange out. He has pitched the last two weeks pretty damn good only to have our bats suck ass.
I don't know how Lange does it, but this is about the 3rd time I have seen him with 4 k's in 1 inning and still load the bags. He should settle in here
