32 days, seaux here we geaux. LSU is not even fucking around this year. Pre-season #2 tells you all you need to know about the potential of this team. Last season we were young…and still kicked ass. This year we are hungry and folks better look out because this team is poised to make a run. Our lineup is stellar and our pitching looks much like the same as last year. Poche is back for his senior season and Alex Lange is here to show us what his junior effort can bring. Unsure who our 3rd starter is gonna be, but we have some youngins who are shaping up for the future, so we’ll see. We lost Coach Andy Cannizaro, a virtually irreplaceable coach to the bells, but stepping up as this year’s hitting coach is mighty Micah Gibbs. Nolan Cain will be the recruiting coordinator and hopefully, showing progress as the 3rd base coach. We have a favorable schedule with only a few questionable series on the road in Florida, Fayetteville and Starkvegas. More so concerned about the gators being so early in the schedule but some fantastic teams gotta come see us at the Box this year, so game on fuggers. There is just too much to mention in an OP for a team that is this loaded and looking to eat, so we’ll point them out over time leading into the 2017 season opener at the Box when we host Air Force and Army for the opening weekend. How cool is that! So for now, let’s get through some recruiting business and then turn our focus to the Tigers Baseball season of 2017. I promise izzy is banned from ALL predictions and that the Tigers, in turn, will bring some magic to Alex Box Stadium. I can promise this, LSU will minimally host a regional in the post season. Feeling pretty strong about a super-regional, but injuries and shit like that gotta happen first. So get ready for some baseball folks, this year is gonna be a dandy.
