That is the offense Norm Chow would have brought to Baton Rouge

That flies in the face of his own interview on TV a couple of weeks ago where he said he is interested in being a HC but has not been offered.

I would love to see one of the networks or SI do an expose on Chow, he must have some real interesting skeletons in his closet!!!! Unbelieveable that he isn't a HC somewhere.

I am sure now he wants to be a coach but that is the reason he has not been one for such a long time.

Orgregon(sp) told the kid who decommitted to UF, that he's bringing that offense to Ole Miss. He was the DC for Pete Carroll. I don't know which offensive assistants he plans to bring with him. I don't know why any of them would want to go.

He was not the DC for USC....he was the line coach, I believe. Carroll is his own DC.

I wouldn't get so excited about a guy who wasn't offered Edwards' position at BYU (and apparently he sought it) after being there for 20+ years.

Bear Bryant once said, "There's as much difference between a head coach and an assistant coach as between an apple and an orange."

I can see young assistants getting the head coaching nod. They, after all, aren't born head coaches. But an assistant in his sixties? Why would we want him as our head coach? But I'd take him as OC in a second.

I did not know that and I'm glad I do now. I would have lost that wager if someone told me Carroll was his own DC prior to today.
