Dont care what this article says. Arpaio has been targeted by the left for years and they finally got him with a leftist judge. Simply put the Obama regime was ignoring the law and breaking federal law, Arpaio was doing their job. This whole "undocumented immigrant" the left tries to sell us is crap. There is no such thing as undocumented immigrants they are breaking the law by coming here. Want to try going into Mexico without checking in? Try it and see what happens to you. Why does every other country have borders that you have to respect and laws to enforce it?
Leftist judge???? He is a W Bush appointee. Arpaio was in constant violation of the 4th amendment. He would have prisoners strapped to chairs beaten and shocked. One died and Phoenix had to pay his family $8,250,000. He ignored over 400 complaints of chil molestation. Do you really support that???? Is there EVER a reason to treat another human being in such a manner. Whatever his position on immigration and illegals was there is no excuse to support this. Be careful supporting someone's crimes and inhumanity just because you agree on a political position. As I said in the Red or Blue thread, follow first principles when making a political decision. If you respect the constitution and the amendments you can't support Arpiao.
A true conservative believes in limited government and the freedom to live one's life without being harassed by police without probable cause. I am troubled by the widespread acceptance of the way Sheriff Joe and his officers conducted themselves. Even if you consider illegal immigration a huge problem, the end does not justify the means.
If those accusations were true why wasn't he convicted of that? He was convicted of profiling which if you are looking for Mexican nationals you tend to look for people that fit that profile first. If he was tried and convicted of the things you say then put him away. There is so much fake news from the left I tend to not believe till there is true evidence. Look Hillary and Bill lied to our faces yet nothing happened to them. Obama and Eric Holder along with people at the IRS did things a normal person should have been impeached or even arrested for yet they not only walk away but keep their jobs. If Joe did those awful things try him for those crimes. Bill pardoned known terroist where were you on that?
