I want them to get to the NC game but as far as winning... well.... :wink: I would also be upset to see an undefeated SEC team not make it to the NC game. It looks as though there may be a serious controversy brewing soon over Auburn being the odd-man out come the end of the season...... Before some of you doubt this.......... I realize that right now the general consensus amongst the media right now is that Auburn should play USC for the NC. Last year at this time, the media kept saying it was USC that would play OU in the NC game. During this time, one man kept saying that LSU would move up and into that NC game and jump USC to face OU. That man was Jerry Palm, and he was right on the money week in and week out concerning LSU's BCS rankings last season. I read his site religiously as the season progressed. :thumb: Palm's predictions are not very promising for Auburn. From what he is saying, Auburn will need to gain even more ground in the human polls to even have a chance. ESPN Article
screw auburn.. just because they are SEC doesnt mean i have to like them... if its not LSU or some other Louisiana team.. screw 'em..
Hope Auburn makes it in. If not, I hope they win big in their bowl. Regardless of the MNC, I don't want them to lose to an out-of-conference team after going undefeated in our league. :nope:
Interesting. I wonder if it's still "not realistic" even if OU faces a 6-5 (or, once the game is over, a 6-6) Iowa St in the Big XII title game. It's a possibility. Also, if AU needs to get to 60-plus over OU in the polls to overcome the computers, and since both teams play at the same time conference championship weekend, plus the fact that OU will face at best a 7-4 team...wow, AU is going to absolutely try to put the wood to Tennessee. They better hang 50 on those guys.
My National Championship feelings- USC vs. OK- Geaux Sooners! USC vs. AU- Geaux Tigers! OK vs. AU- Geaux Sooners! I guess watching the covered wagon run around the dome last year had an impact on me.
If Auburn doesn't get their shot in Miami, Tubby can just have the Auburn team stomp on the BCS logo before OU and USC kick off :thumb:

I find it difficult to pull for Auburn this year considering that many of their fans didn't pull for LSU last year.
