If Auburn goes 13-0, then at the very, very least you'll have had three different SEC teams have a combined total of 2 losses and all finish in the top three of the final poll over the past three seasons. That's f'ing sick, man! No other conference even comes close to matching the SEC for all-around excellence. In fact, if AU wins it all, then you will have had five SEC national title winners in the past twelve years...with ALL FREAKING FIVE being different teams (Ala, Fla, Tenn, LSU, AU). No one dominant team lording over a conference like USC or Oklahoma or Florida State...FIVE different teams in FIVE different years. SECond to none, baby, SECond to none!
it would be an absolute travesty if AU doesnt get the respect and isnt national champions if they keep winning.
i couldn't agree more, quite the opposite of Lou Holtz. I bet he voted against AU :lol: Geaux AU in Atlanta and beyond until the first game next season provided we can't make it of course!
Yep, no surprise. Honestly, I wish more of you guys would have supported last year. Of all the SEC visitors we had here, AU may have been the least represented (outside of Vandy of course). Maybe I just missed things, but y'all should know that you have our support. All you gotta do is keep on winning. Don't worry about anything else. You have two big games ahead of you and you cannot afford to lose either if you want to be this year's LSU. Good luck.
I'm in the same boat. I was struggling with the decision to support AU, but I can't help but support them now. Now that I know they're not overrated. If they don't get to play in the NC after going undefeated, I'm gonna raise hell.
