Chaos, it's not. I never said it was. I never said that there weren't. It's you that keeps trying to box me into this "us vs. them" mentality. My comments were aimed solely at Rex, and are based upon things he has posted in the past that have led me to draw my own conclusions. I have my own issues w/ Pres. Bush, but I still support him. I've had spirited debates with you, but have I ever called you a "commie" because you choose to disagree?
why don't you come in and take the crown then. way to offer nothing of substance to the discussion at hand.
what should have bush done? and this has nothing to do with iraq. i thought we all agreed that kim jong il is a lunatic. from the article: "Kim stated if the United States recognized the North's sovereignty and provided non-aggression assurances" but he should already know that: "U.S. officials have said they recognize the North's sovereignty, have no plans to invade" so kim has these assurances. (incidentally, i am suprised rex is not claiming that previous statement is a lie, because we surely do have plans to invade, in the sense that our military has certainly analyzed how to invade all our enemies. but in a previous thread rex demonstrated his inability to understand the multiple interpretations of the phrase "having plans".)
It's fine if he boxes me into "us" vs "them" because that's the way I look at things, especially on this forum where it's a certain group of posters vs. everyone else.
Very well, then. I guess I just haven't seen anything come from him that indicated that he thinks we should have government-determined occupations and all make the same amount of money. Maybe I haven't been around long enough.
Apparently Rex spends his free time scouring the internet searching for items with which he can come on here and take pot shots at the "non-Democrat" administration. The good news is that only a couple of "I want freedom but I don't want to pay for it" types agree with him on a consistent basis. The bad news is that we have to put up with it for about 6 more years.
This is my mentality entirely. Every single post by Rex is an attempt to take shots and ruffle feathers. Especially the stupid rant from a few days ago....
Those who take positions as intellectual superiors need to take the time to ensure their posts reflect said superiority. Catching Saddam. Whatever W did or didn't do, Rex would undermine him at every turn. The concept is indeed simple, but it has flown right over your head. Rex never fails at taking whatever blurb he finds from the top news pages and posts it on here in an attempt to get some skirts ruffled and panties wadded. If that's not the definition of inflammatory I don't know what is.
Excuse me, jack, why don't you go ahead and locate this 'said superiority' for me? Hell, how about an even implied intellectual superiority? You're the only one around here that claims to be the intellectual superior, Mr. 157. And that's indeed ironic, as you have demonstrated the inability to differentiate between a well-worded retort and boasting about ones own intellectual capacity. Oh wait, I thought that I was the one who claimed the intellectual superiority complex around here? You really need to ditch that M.O. Big f'ing deal. If you can't handle that, then perhaps you should heed the advice that I provided earlier in this thread. You act as if those on 'your' side don't take every opportunity to defame those on 'my' side.
