Don't know if you are interested in talking about this but what are you going to do about your name?

I was in your corner too Crawfish...but my "source" turned out to be wrong too. To ease things though the desicion wasn't truly made until Thursday night. Everything up to that point was he was staying.

saban waited to announce late so he would have to coach the bowl game. if he came out and took it earlier he wouldn't have to coach it.

  4. I'm ok with Crawfish on this one. Alot of stuff changed in the last few days that probably changed the course of the whole deal. Buddy reported that the guy that used to coach here turned down the job a day before the big wheeler flew in. Not to mention, those positive posts kept me sane for those 2 weeks of garbage.

According to whom? I see someone who struggled with a decision as of late. Not something he accepted weeks/months ago.

I appreciate Crawfish's posts which help to maintain a positive attitude and hope till the very end. It's been a disappointment to everyone. I also believe the last ditch efforts by Miami were what turned the whole thing around. Otherwise, if this was a done deal, there was absolutely no reason for HZ to fly in early Christmas Eve, unless it was to salvage the deal. That's why to the very end I believed in Crawfish. From the conference NS had always had his sights for a higher level of challlenge, and it seems that he wrote off his daughter's wishes as the youngster being able to adapt. Seems like Terri gave in as she seems to respect his longtime aspirations. Well, good things can't go on forever, and there will be ups and downs.

Let's all move forward, and who know, the next coach may just be as successful, if not even better. It all depends on Karma. Remember the stars DID line up for the 2003 Tigers to be able to get to the NC to win the trophy.
