My issue is more the term than the salary. I think his time at FSU is past its sell by date, and he hasn't been there 10 years.
I am thrilled no Jimbo. If there was/when there is more competition in ACC, his tarnish shows pretty good.
Boy, we are doing some rent-free living here. Obviously, Jimbo wanted to stay in Tallahassee. I'm sure he received future incentives to do so. I think Jimbo was the better get, but someone carrying around that type of resume you have to just give then everything they want and hope that's your man. Harbaugh came with a steep price, 9 mil in fact, and that was his alumni asking price. Imagine if he had no ties? These elite HCs are acting like rock stars.
Since I came late to this game (just after 2007) I never knew Fisher when he was at LSU. Why are LSU people high on this guy? Please educate me.
It's mostly split. Some people love him because he can coach up qbs however others think he has peaked and his time has passed. I'm in the latter
