I agree with martin. Big black guys are scary & do come off as having a bit of primal rage, which often draws the gorilla comparison.
why do you think you always see a 300 lb. hog driving a friggin kia ?They are discriminated against and can't afford anything better, heck they can barely afford the tubs of butter they need to squeeze into the car.:hihi:
Never been to Jena, have you? The town is about 80 percent white. Bell will have to move on, because he ain't likely to ever find work there. More likely, he'll end up in the LaSalle Parish Prison within a year anyway. He has four juvenile convictions already at age 16, and is about to get another. When he is an adult, they will throw the book at him for his first offense. He should follow the reverend Al back to NYC as soon as he gets out.
I am not forcing anyone to be friends, but establishing a place located on the school grounds where some students are not welcome because of their race, religion or any such reason is clearly unacceptable. If the situation continues, and the tree continues to be a symbol of racial prejudice, certainly removing the tree would be a solution. It may not the preferable solution, or the best one, but it is a solution.
Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Why not ban rope in the community too. Anyway, what does it feel like to be "offended"? Does one's face get all flushed and red? Does one's stomach hurt? Would the offendee become incapable of rational thought, thus impairing his/her ability to make a living? If one is offfended during the course of the day, does he/she go home and tell the spouse who then bellows out a primal scream at the disaster that has been thrust upon the family? Inquiring minds want to know.
all they have to do is get that stump pulled from the ground. problem solved. oops though i guess they could just have an area where the stump used to be. jeebus where does it end!
I cannot believe there are literate Americans that believe there should be hate crime legislation. That's absolutely baffling.
you strike me as the type that would hang out at no darkie stump. formerly the tree of prejudice. soon to be the hate hole.
