Well who wouldn't be pissed off when they've been discounted, ignored, talked down to, condescended to, and then taken for granted? I'm none of the things that white people have been accused of but I got pissed as hell at the implication and the condemnation of people who don't have a college degree as if that piece of paper (I own 2) makes anyone a better voter or better citizen.
I think this "white voter taking us back to the good old days" over simplifications such as that are why the pollsters got it all wrong. A different Dem candidate, practically any Dem candidate, other than Hillary, would have won, and the conversation would be entirely different. The loss here, with everything considered, was about Hillary's unworthy character.
