I'm good. I shut off my water to my house the 1st day Power went out and drained as much as I could from the system. Now just chasing air and sediment because our towns water plant went down. We are on Boil until sometime next week.
I think I got by pretty good on 1 part preparation, 1 part help, 1 part luck. Prepped the house. check Help: Did not expect or know what to do when power went off and the pool started to freeze over. My friend helped me winterize the pumps and filter. I think I might have saved that stuff. It will depend on when everything thaws and I turn the system on again. I did not have the visible damage to pumps and pipes like others have shown. check Luck? People's tankless water heaters busted. Mine didn't. I did add some extra insulation but I don't know if that helped or not. That could go to prepped but IDK. No damaged pipes in the house. No ice damns at my house. People are seeing water backing up into their drywall because of ice dams. Not me. Peoples fire water systems busted. I don't have one.
And one more thing. I am on a fixed rate electrical plan. I can't believe what I am hearing from local news about what people are being charged for 1st, being without electricity, and then using it when they got it.
