He might go after the money.

And if they win the Rose Bowl this year.

I dont know one way or the other but if he does go pro.

Losing Ryan P hurts them even more.

a stranger on the internet who says he is friends with RP. I don't believe him, I was just making sure. I didn't mean to scare anyone.

Sean May stated he was coming back to UNC, a week later he declared. Things change, if Vince keeps this up he will be a top 5 pick.

If he says that he will not go pro after this season, I suspect that the pro scouts see something that they do not like. If that changes, he is going pro.

I suspect the same thing about USC's quarterback last year.

yeah id never have bought the VY comment but Leinart made liars out of all of us. its good for college football if he does but not necessarily for LSU.

he is pretty fun to watch, especially against teams like okie state last week. he had 200+ both rushing and passing i think.

If teams want to ponder him at QB, anohter year will help hiim. If they want to take a flyer on an athlete, then he could go high this year. The fact still remains he cannot pass well enough to win NFL football games. Yes, he is improved, but he is not close to being ready as a passer for the NFL...even less so than Vick was when he came out (Vince is much more improved than I thought he could be...so apparently there is still lots of upside).

He'll be a project for any NFL team wanting to use him as QB, why not let college help work out some of those kinks if he's dedicated to playing QB. If, like Saban wanted, he is open to playing WR and wanting to come out this year, he'll go high. Nick was right when he told Antonio Gates he should be a TE, Eric Winston he should be an OT, and Vince Young a WR.

He could develop into a decent overall NFL QB, but he's a few years away from that..and I don't know if any NFL team is willing to invest 3 years into a Junior 'project QB' with a top 10 pick.

Young will stay... He wants to be the #1 pick and get the money that goes along with it.. this year that is going to be Leinart... Also, while you put off getting the cash for an extra year, remember that each year the contracts adn the signing bonuses get bigger and bigger.. waiting an extra year may mean getting bigger money in the long run...
