    i dont remember if i saw them at my uncles in houma or my other uncle in crowley but i remember seeing them in the pasture when we had that bad flood in like 84...i don know remember this don't go by them in a boat they will swarm into the nearest dry thing.

    Probably 1978 or 1979. Monsoon + really high tide = Bad juju!

    I was there in 1988 or 89 just after penatubo eruption. There was huge rains then also.
