Why would LSU fans???? We got two top 20 QB's in 2003...we really didn't need 3. Let him rot at Ole Miss, LSU will be fine.

Any QB that scared of competition in his same class isn't confident enough in his skills IMO.

I'm here in Houston. I was just flipping around AM stations this morning on the drive into work and some guy was just a little upset about RP. . .

I agree with whoever brought up Chrissy Simms swapping from Tenn to UT, it's all about karma, what goes around, comes around. . .

Yea, actually Bucktown, I don't follow their websites at all. I'm basing my opinion purely on interaction with their fans. And fairly broad exposure to them too...

I'm a little worried about the respect RP was giving Vince Young. . POSSIBLY THE MOST HORRIBLE, OVERHYPED COLLEGIATE QB IN HISTORY. . . i forgot which game it was this past year, but he missed on three consecutive passes, two swing outs to his rb in the backfield and a 5 yard pass was horribly overthrown to a wide open TE. I would think he'd have a much better shot at starting at UT if VY goes down the tank early.

VY may turn out to be a phenom at WR in the NFL, but I can't wait to watch him blow up next year under the heisman hype.

I am with you 100% Mystikalilusion.

I watched VY's workout/combine on TV here in Houston when he signed with Texas. Terrible...he was short hopping balls to receivers and just looked terrible. Now, he had a great game in the Rose Bowl, but that was his best game ever.

BUT...against good defenses that are fast (i.e. Oklahoma), he couldn't do anything. A defense that can hold the QB in pocket and has good tackling/speed will own them any day. It is amazing how mediocre he is against the other mediocre teams in the Big XII. Don't believe the hype which is being caused by one great game in his career. Texas will not even smell BCS next season and Young won't even be mentioned for Heisman after week 4/5 of the 2005 season.

I really hope we weren't as bad as the Texas fans are showing on their board.

One thread dedicated to RP actually breaking his leg and so forth....

I got a message from a guy at work wishing that RP goes down with a major knee injury...classless to say the least.

Typical Texass. Where was the outrage when Chris Simms went on ESPN and announced he was going to TN a few years ago. TN then lost out on two blue chips who went someplace else. No articles calling Simms out like they are doing to RP. This is why Texass is right there with Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Florida in my book. Arrogant A-Holes!:angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire

That's alright, we can always count on their entire team to go down with cowardice at some point each season. Knees can heal, cowardice can't.
