How about the Radiators, a great New Orleans band? I think most of them live in California now but I saw them at Tipitina's last year. They are still great.

They were an awesome band.... a fun blend of rock and pop. Two of their songs made some decent airplay on MTV.....

I spent six weeks in 85 touring throughout the Southeast with the Producers as a member of the opening act. It was just about the most fun I ever had in my life, and that experience is what made me decide to give up the music biz shortly thereafter.... I saw how hard these guys were working, and although they were regionally successful, they were a long way from "making it."
I figured this was a practical lesson for me to learn from........

When the original bass player found Gawd, he was replaced with a boy from Lafayette, and they were never quite the same. Not bad, just different....

look up TigerPT I bet he can hook you up with a CD of the Producers
