    Were you around for the 1989 LSU appearance at the regional in College Station?

    that 1989 series was in College Station... it was the 1991 series that was in Baton Rouge...

    I was born in 1982, so no I don't neccessarily remember it!!

    I was THERE ...at least for the opener against UNLV. It was a windy day, and the Runnin' Rebels smacked Ben McDonald around pretty good.
    Curtis Leskanic came out of the bullpen and won it for the Tigers...I think the final was something like 14-11. The thing I remember most was that it
    was a very small crowd at Olsen Field, but there were quite a few A&M students that skipped morning classes and showed up just to razzoo
    McDonald.
