No, his policy was to focus on stepped up targeting of the terrorist cells in six countries to kill the actual perps and it has been remarkably successful. Invading and occupying entire muslim countries was a snowballing clutserfuck that failed to address the real problem and just created more problems. The notion that we can just kill all of the muslims is simply a childish fantasy. It can't be done. If you would ever start thinking with your brain instead of your balls, you could go far, podnuh. I think it is being practical and effective versus repeating the fall of the Roman Empire by overreaching our capabilities, alienating our allies, and causing our enemies to band together. I can't think of anything more un-American, un-Christian, and unimaginative than committing unprecedented genocide in response to random acts of criminal violence. If you begin history in 2003 Red....however the radical and violent face of Islam has its beginning much before that. Remember they tried to bomb the WTC in 1984 (?), the USS Cole before 2000, the embassies in Africa etc, etc. I agree that understanding the motives behind your opponents' actions you are correct. To give it any validity other than a crazed (and I mean that) POV is not reasonable. They have no point other than blind anger at their position in the world and a desire to lash out at anything that is different.
