We'll see where those two offenses rank after SEC play. Who has A&M put those numbers on? If LSU had anything closely resembling a high school caliber passing attack Florida's defensive ranking would have taken a drastic fall.

Our offense was inept in 2010. I thought it showed vast signs of improvement for most of 2011. This year has been closer to inept so far. If it wasn't for 2011, I would have no doubt that changes are needed. For now, I'd like to see how the rest of the season plays out.

And for the past three weeks, our offense looks much worse than 2010. But that stands to reason--we are inexperienced in a lot of key areas.

While they haven't really played any offensive juggernauts, they haven't allowed a 4th Q pt through 6 games. That's pretty impressive. Still, I don't believe they're as good as they think they are. Their toughest games left are USCe, UGA, and Fla.St. I can easily see them losing 2 out of those 3.

I know this is a WILD stretch, but I'd love it if we could get our sh!t together offensively, win out, and meet them again in the SECCG. Just like in '06, we had the best team in the country that year, but turnovers killed us in our game with them. And despite beating Ark straight up, they held the tie breaker and won the West. FU didn't want any part of us again in ATL that year.

Is that what you call it?? Success.

The only success we've had is Chavis. Chavis has most certainly been a success. Thanks to Chavis, LSU has been in the game, in spite of a flailing offense. Our offense has been lucky, in that they really haven't played stellar defenses, except Bama .. .and we all saw what happened on that .. we mustered up a whopping 9 points in 8 quarters of play, none of which where "earned points", 3 off an int, 3 off of flat out luck on one pass play, and a gimmie due to FP in OT.

The problem is ... the other teams are catching up. They are rebuilding, they are moving forward ... and the good thing is for them, the same prep they did last year applies to this year, because we haven't changed a thing. Same 10 plays over and over .. and you know when we are going to run them.

It's not that LSU fans want an Okie State style offense .. they just want to see an offense that does a little bit more than a highschool team. Right now ... our Highschool runs more plays that LSU. That's pretty sad.

FWIW, Florida has played two offenses ranked in the top 20, A&M and Tenn, and they played them on the road. Not sure what your definition of juggernaut would be but both those teams can and do score and rated over 50 spots higher than LSU. BTW, Okie Lite has a young. inexperienced QB just like the starter that went down, wonder why they don't have the QB problems we have???

To be honest, he is right. If the players execute LSU wins. It's not a pretty win, it's not some huge blowout like everyone wants to see, it's probably a battle, and an extremely close victory.

Everyone has to understand that this is Les Miles football. If we blow anyone out it's going to be because our defense and special teams puts the offense in a position to score and to score alot. We are not going to sling it all over the yard, and if you look at the numbers we do throw more this year.

Les Miles football again, run the football, throw every now and then, punt the football, play great defense and special teams, force the opposition to make mistakes. That's it, it's very simple.

I might be able to take you seriously if you made it clear you weren't an idiot.

We lose one game and we have already had more bitching and moaning in 3 days vs all of last year.

    .... Ya think?????

Well here's your analysis Freud .....

The Bitching and Moaning is not about one loss. It's a continuation of the bitching and moaning that was more than prevalent last year ... and the year before that ... and the year before that. Some people recognize problems ... some don't. Just because you win, doesn't mean you deserved it. ... and such scenarios always catch up with you sooner or later ... like last years BCSNCG, where LSU was not only beat .. but embarrased.

But don't worry ... the next loss will be chauked up to "rebuilding" by the football geniuses such as yourself. It's just the "youth". ... and you'll be saying the same thing next year too ... and the next .. and the next.

    Signed .. the Villiage Idiot.
